alerie, The past year we had the opportunity to complete our plans of putting in a back yard swimming pool. It was a long term dream of ours and we were diligent in selecting “craftsmen” that we felt were experienced, honest and easy to work with. Since our plans included a major amount of stone work we spent an inordinate amount of time interviewing several companies that could “physically” do the job. Along with a pool and landscape company we finally selected Thomas Flint and Co. to make up our team of experts to implement our dream. The project took us six months to complete. We had at least one of these crews in our yard on most days and will admit that at times we could have “fast forwarded” the clock. We understood however, that in order to accomplish the results we had hoped for it was necessary for the “Flint team” to take their time building our walls with the utmost care and diligence. What we appreciated most was the open dialogue between Tom Flint and all of the people involved in the organization and us. They were completely open to our thoughts and suggestions and continually checking with us via meetings and phone calls for any “problems or concerns” that may have arisen. Besides the excellent craftsmanship the work crew exhibited it was also the personal interest in the project on a continual basis that gave my wife and me a feeling of comfort. Additionally, I was impressed with the follow up service the Flint & Co. displayed after the job was completed. Tom told me several times that if I found any problem with the “project” over the next several years and beyond they would be there to correct it. And true to his word just the other day Tom came by to inspect the work after the winter season and made a checklist of a few items that need to be addressed. So to say we are very pleased to have selected Thomas Flint & Co. to help us realize our dream is an understatement. We would highly recommend TF & Co. to anyone looking for a quality organization who makes every effort to make sure you are pleased with the work and who doesn’t leave you once the work has been completed.

Our experience with Tom Flint Landscape Designs was nothing less than an absolute pleasure. Tom was wonderful to deal with, offering great suggestions & advice from the 1st meeting right through the final plantings that finished off the landscape. His knowledge, professionalism and genuine interest in our project throughout the process was consistently at its peak and he delivered on his promise of a “hands on” approach during our initial meetings by visiting the work site daily. He went above & beyond the call several times during our project but most notably by spending his St Patrick’s Day in our variance hearing! Val kept us up to speed during the preliminary aspects of the project and is the glue that keeps the ship afloat at TFLD! We hope we can come up with another project so we can work with Tom & his crew again.

Before choosing a contractor to install the stone work and travertine patio around my pool, I researched and spoke with many contractors. Thomas Flint seemed most knowledgeable and came highly recommended. I saw some of his projects and was pleased with his work. I choose Tom for the job and, in hindsight, I feel I made the right decision. He and his team were prompt, courteous, and performed all of the work with expert craftsmanship. At one point, we had some difficulty matching stone, and Tom went the extra mile to find the right materials so the job looked perfect. With confidence, I would recommend your use of Thomas Flint.

We are astonished at how true your original statements were regarding how much the change would affect the look of our home and truly upgrade and transform the entire front of our property. We thought the skill of dry stone wall construction was lost in our area. Your crew proved us wrong.
